Chapter 667: Chapter 666 - Returning with the Demoness to the Lord’s Mansion

Not the battlefield-wide, ’everyone-dies’ killing intent. The focused, ’I-am-talking-to-you’ killing intent. The Crimson Blood Monarch’s domain contracted — from the entire valley to a ten-foot radius around Nora’s body.

Inside that radius, the air became blood. Not metaphorically. The oxygen molecules were replaced with mana constructs of blood — invisible, tasteless, but present. Nora’s lungs pulled them in. Her blood responded. Her veins ’tightened.’

The demoness felt her heart stutter.

Not a threat. A statement. A fact. ’I can kill you where you stand, and you know it, and I know it, and the only reason you are still breathing is because I have decided that you should breathe.’

"No," Nora said. The word came fast. Immediate. Her knees hit the ground — not the demon hierarchy this time, but genuine, self-preserving submission. "No. No, Master, you don’t have to." Her voice was breathless. The killing intent was still pressing on her chest. "I need this body to exact my revenge on that man. The filthy man who dared to defile my lips."

Mira turned. Slowly. Her green eyes found Nora’s crimson ones. The killing intent didn’t fade. It held. Patient.

"A man?" Mira said. Her eyebrow went up again. "Defiling what? What happened?"

Nora’s jaw tightened. The memory — the ’taste’ — surged to the surface of her mind. The humiliation. The collar. The forced licking. The cock in her mouth. The sound of his voice saying ’harden it again, this is your punishment.’

The demoness took a breath. Then spoke.

"I was summoned. In a cave, near the human territory. One of the Demon King’s kin — a lower demon — sacrificed himself to open a blood-price portal. I answered. I am a heavenly demon — one of the five. Summoning me requires absolute sacrifice."

Mira nodded. Listening.

"When I arrived," Nora continued, her voice tight, "there was a human male. Standing. With two women on the ground. The cave was filled with his pheromones. Incubus energy. I felt it." Her hands clenched. "He knew my name. He said it. ’Nora.’ As if he had the right."

"And then?"

"He made me kneel. His power — it was — I couldn’t resist. He had a collar. It formed on my neck. I couldn’t break it. Only the Demon King can collar a heavenly demon, and he — a human — he did it."

Nora’s voice cracked. The rage and the shame, mixed together, produced a sound that was neither a growl nor a sob but something in between.

"He made me lick his cock."

The words came out flat. Clinical. The way a soldier reports a wound.

"A big cock. The biggest I have ever seen on any human. On any demon. He told me to harden it. That it was my punishment. And I — my body — I couldn’t stop myself. I licked it. I took it in my mouth. He used his tail to move my head. Up and down. I was—" She stopped. Swallowed. "I was being face-fucked by a human’s tail."

Mira’s mouth opened.

"Was that man — had he violated—"

"Indeed," Nora said. The word was sharp. Hard. "Indeed he had."

"Was he vulgar?" Mira asked.

"AND INDEED HE WAS TALKING DEGRADING WORDS!" Nora’s voice exploded. The composure shattered entirely. The heavenly demon was on her knees in a field of scorched earth, screaming about a man who had made her suck his cock. "He was too strong! Too strong at that! He said — he said ’I like kneeling in front of beautiful women, they become wet, too soon for me to fuck’ — he said that! To ME! A heavenly demon! He said—"

Mira smirked.

The smirk was small. Knowing. The smirk of a woman who had just heard a description that was very, very familiar.

She coughed. Covered her mouth with her hand. Looked at the demoness — at the ash-grey hair, the crimson eyes, the barely-contained body, the outfit that was designed for combat and accomplished nothing except making the wearer look like a slut — and the smirk widened.

"This world is very small," Mira said. Her voice was warm. Amused. "Do you know that?"

Nora raised an eyebrow. The crimson eyes narrowed.

"What?"

Mira chuckled. Then turned. Snapped her finger. Her body lifted — not jumped, ’lifted’ — into the air. The Shadow Monarch’s flight ability, combined with the Arcane Sovereign’s mana manipulation, carried her upward. She hovered for a moment — her naked body silhouetted against the darkening sky, her black hair streaming, her thick form casting a shadow over the scorched earth — and then flew. Toward Millbrook. Toward home.

"Follow me," she called over her shoulder. The Voice of Dominion carried the words to Nora’s ears across the wind.

Nora rose. Her own flight — demonic, the wings of mana forming on her back — carried her upward. She followed. Behind and below Mira, matching speed but keeping distance.

The flight was quiet. The wind filled the silence. Below, the forest passed — the canopy of trees, the rivers, the roads that led to Millbrook.

Nora’s internal thoughts churned.

’My master is very strong,’ she thought. Her crimson eyes tracked Mira’s form ahead — the thick hips, the wide ass, the heavy tits visible from behind as Mira flew. The naked body, flying through the sky without a care, without shame, without the slightest concern for who might see. ’Maybe she is an ancient being. Living among humans. Disguised.’

The theory made sense. The power Mira wielded — the ninth-circle magic, the wordless casting, the infinite mana, the killing intent, the blood manipulation, the sword dominion — no human could wield all of that. No modern mage, no guild master, no royal court wizard. The only beings Nora had encountered with power approaching this level were the Demon King himself and perhaps the eldest of the dragon lords.

’An ancient,’ Nora thought. ’A being from the old world. Perhaps from before the demon-human wars. Perhaps from before the barriers between realms were established. She has been hiding. Living as a human. And now she has revealed herself.’

The thought was terrifying. And fascinating.

’If she is an ancient — if her power is near the Demon King — then her husband...’

Nora’s mind shifted. The strategic, calculating, ’how-do-I-improve-my-position’ part of her brain — the part that had kept her alive for three thousand years in the cutthroat politics of the demon realm — engaged.

’Her husband would be strong too. Perhaps stronger. If she is the wife, and she is this powerful, then the husband...’

’I could become a concubine.’

The thought arrived unbidden. Nora’s face — pale, demon-white — flushed. She shook her head. The ’what-is-wrong-with-me’ reaction of a heavenly demon who had just caught herself fantasizing about becoming a concubine to the husband of a woman she had met five minutes ago.

’No. I am a heavenly demon. I am one of the five. I do not become concubines. I am summoned, I serve my contract, I exact my revenge on the cock-bearing bastard, and I leave.’

But the thought lingered.

’But if the husband is strong enough... if he is an ancient too... if his bloodline is superior...’

’Stop it.’

She flew. Behind the naked woman. Through the sky.

Toward the town that had been built by a man who had enough power and resources to construct cobblestone roads and magical lamps and a palace.
