Amon and Seraphina walked side by side through the wide hallway of Royal University, surrounded by students.

Seraphina glanced at Amon. "Why do you think the Queen is taking the first class?"

Amon chuckled as he slipped his hands into his pockets.

"Most probably, she wants the students to feel a sense of pride in the kingdom."

"What’s the best way to do that other than having the Queen herself meet them?"

Seraphina nodded thoughtfully. "That makes sense."

She was silent for a moment before a mischievous smile appeared on her face. "Or maybe she wants to recruit some young blood into her harem."

Amon immediately gave her a strange look. "You’ll get us killed."

Seraphina’s smile froze.

She quickly looked around the hallway, checking whether anyone had heard her.

After noticing that everyone was busy with their own conversations, she finally let out a relieved sigh.

She turned toward Amon and continued smiling. "Am I wrong, though?"

Amon shrugged."Maybe you’re right. Perhaps she’ll try to recruit me."

Seraphina immediately glared at him. "You aren’t going anywhere close to that whor--"

Amon quickly clasped his hand over her mouth. "You’re really going to get us killed."

Seraphina’s eyes narrowed as she glared at him, but Amon only smiled before removing his hand.

She quietly muttered something under her breath, though Amon wisely decided not to ask what she had said.

The two eventually reached an enormous classroom.

The entrance alone was almost twice the size of an ordinary door.

Beyond it was a massive hall with enough seats to accommodate hundreds of students.

Most of them had already arrived. Amon immediately noticed that nearly every seat was occupied.

The moment Amon and Seraphina entered, several conversations became noticeably quieter.

Amon wasn’t surprised.

Both of them naturally attracted attention because of their appearance, but Amon had another reason for being recognized.

His results during the university screening had already spread throughout the academy.

An S-rank Potential. SSS total mana. SSS mana control. All elemental affinities and a perfect physical result.

Those achievements were more than enough to make students curious about him.

Amon ignored the attention and walked toward an empty pair of seats.

He sat down beside Seraphina and glanced around the enormous classroom. "There are a lot of students."

Seraphina looked around as well. "Maybe it’s because we have all the students from this batch here."

Amon nodded slowly.

It was the first lecture of the new students, the Royal University would want everyone present for it.

Seraphina suddenly leaned closer to Amon.

Her blue hair brushed lightly against his shoulder as she whispered. "What if she gives you a blowjob here?"

Amon looked at her. "You’ll get both of us kicked out on the first day."

Seraphina covered her mouth as she giggled.

She quickly looked around to make sure nobody was watching them before settling back into her seat.

Amon glanced toward the front of the room. Among the hundreds of students, he noticed a familiar face.

The messy black hair boy with that strange silver ring with black markings.

’He’s here too, huh?’

Kael Arven sat several rows away, seemingly uninterested in everything around him.

Amon’s gaze lingered on the ring for a moment.

Before he could think about it any further, the entire classroom suddenly became quiet.

The change was so immediate that Amon almost found it amusing. Not a single voice could be heard.

The sound of heels striking the marble floor grew louder as a woman entered the classroom.

She walked calmly toward the front desk before stopping in front of it.

The entire class immediately stood and Amon followed them.

Everyone bowed their heads. "We are grateful to be in your presence, Your Majesty."

Amon copied their movements but remained silent. He slowly raised his eyes.

The woman standing before them looked to be in her late thirties, although there was an elegance about her that made it difficult to guess her exact age.

Her long golden-brown hair fell neatly down her back, with several strands framing her mature features.

Her eyes were a deep emerald green, calm but sharp enough to make the entire room feel smaller whenever she looked around.

She wore an old-fashioned dark burgundy dress that reached all the way to her ankles, decorated with delicate golden embroidery around the sleeves and collar.

A thin golden necklace rested around her neck, while a small royal crest was pinned near her shoulder.

The dress looked like something from another era yet somehow, she wore it naturally.

Amon stared at her for another second. ’...She really looks like a milf.’

He immediately pushed the thought aside.

The Queen looked across the room before speaking. "Please, sit."

Her voice was soft and melodious, carrying effortlessly across the enormous classroom.

Everyone sat down. Amon followed, resting his back against the chair.

The Queen placed both hands lightly against the desk.

"My name is Eleanor Valerius." Her gaze moved across the students.

"I am the Queen of the Kingdom, and under ordinary circumstances, I would spend this first lesson teaching you about our kingdom’s history."

She paused. "But I will not be doing that today."

The atmosphere of the room turned slightly colder.

The Queen looked toward the students with a calm expression. "As all of you know, the King is very weak."

Several students exchanged uncomfortable glances.

The Queen continued without hesitation. "In fact, he could die at any moment."

A wave of gasps spread throughout the classroom.

But Amon immediately understood that she had chosen those words deliberately.

He watched her carefully. ’What is her goal here?’

The Queen didn’t react to the students’ shock as she continued speaking.

"Tell me something." Her eyes moved across the room. "Should a woman be allowed to lead the kingdom?"

Silence.

The question hung over the classroom like a blade.

Nobody moved or spoke.

The Queen slowly looked from student to student, seemingly waiting for someone to answer.

Then her gaze stopped, directly on Amon.

"Mr. Arcadia. Would you like to answer?"

Several students immediately turned toward him.

Amon hadn’t expected to be called out so suddenly, but he quickly calmed himself before speaking.

"The kingdom should be ruled by whoever is capable of leading it." He paused briefly. "It shouldn’t be based on gender."

A small smile appeared on the Queen’s lips.

"A good answer." Her gaze moved back toward the rest of the class. "Among the elves, the Matriarchal system is common. Their society has traditionally placed women in positions of supreme authority."

She paused before asking another question. "So why don’t humans do the same?"

Nobody answered but the Queen didn’t wait for one.

"Because humans cannot because they are barbaric." Her words caused another uncomfortable silence. "But that is not the point."

She slowly walked away from the desk.

"The world is changing. Other races exist beyond our borders, and there is a very real possibility that some of them may eventually turn their attention toward humanity."

Her expression became more serious. "If that happens, this kingdom will need someone capable of standing at its center."

She looked across the students.

"Someone strong enough to protect it and the kingdom is in dire need of such a person."

Amon listened carefully.

The Queen’s words were reasonable on the surface, but something about them made him uncomfortable.

Her expression finally softened. "And I fully believe my son is truly capable of becoming that person."

The classroom remained silent.

Amon stared at her. ’Bullshit.’

He didn’t know enough about the Queen to understand her exact intentions, but he had heard enough about the royal family’s internal struggles to recognize what she was doing.

She was planting an idea inside the minds of hundreds of talented young people.

Amon’s expression became slightly grim. ’Is she really planning to take control of the kingdom?’

If the King’s condition was truly as bad as everyone claimed, then this could be her way of preparing the public for a change in leadership.

Or perhaps she was sending a message to the nobles.

Either way, Amon didn’t like being caught in the middle of it.

The Queen eventually returned to the desk and calmly clasped her hands together.

"Now." A gentle smile returned to her face.

"With that out of the way, we can finally talk about history."
