SUMMARY
Married for four years, Wren Sutton deeply loved her husband, Adrian Lancaster.
In the end, what she got in return was a cold, cruel reality: her husband's heart belonged to another woman. The favoritism and indulgence he showed that woman were things she had never received.
Though jealous, Wren Sutton had an epiphany. Since she couldn't warm the man's heart, she would grab his money instead.
She came up with a plan to “trick” Adrian Lancaster into signing the divorce papers, waiting for the cooling-off period to end.
An accident struck unexpectedly. A plane crash shattered all plans, completely changing both of their destinies.
Before the plane crashed, the only thing that flashed through Adrian Lancaster's mind was Wren Sutton's face. Her every frown and smile had long been deeply imprinted on his soul, occupying his heart, impossible to erase.
Love had taken root and sprouted during their four years of marriage. He realized it too late, his eyes turning red with regret.
“Wren Sutton, I love you.”
Reunion.
Adrian Lancaster, covered in scars and filled with belated love, let go of all his pride. On the long road to winning back his wife, he lost control, trapping Wren Sutton in his arms in a fervent kiss, his eyes reddening.
“Darling, give me one more chance, I'm begging you...”
Hearing the man's trembling, pleading voice, Wren Sutton raised her hand to smooth his anxious brow. Her hatred dissipated, replaced by a calm acceptance.
“Adrian Lancaster, we're divorced.”
Adrian Lancaster's defenses crumbled. “Those divorce papers don't count.”
Wren Sutton: “You signed them yourself.”
Adrian Lancaster: “The child doesn't agree.”
The child: “...”
Both leads are clean.
