Puck Me? No, Fake-Date Me!

“One shot,” Knox said, gesturing toward the empty net. “You put a single puck in the net, and I'll cooperate.”

Nora Bennett doesn't have time for hockey, arrogant athletes, or Knox Sheridan. He's the campus's star forward, resident playboy, and the last person she'd choose to spend time with.

Her only priorities are keeping her GPA spotless and sending every spare dollar home to save her mother's bakery from foreclosure. So when her work-study tutoring stipend gets cut to fund the athletic department, and Knox is the only job offer on the table, she had no choice but to take it.

Knox on the other hand isn't planning to cooperate. He's already run off three tutors this semester, and Nora is supposed to be number four. But Nora isn't the type to be pushed out. She's dealt with worse than a cocky hockey star with a bad attitude, and she has every intention of getting paid.

Then Knox blurts out a lie she never saw coming: “We're not just studying. We're also dating.”

Now Nora is stuck in a fake relationship with the campus's biggest trouble magnet. And the worst part? She's starting to think Knox might actually be playing for keeps.
